“Grantham Foodbank” – October 2016 The children and staff took part in the Harvest Festival challenge and donated items to the Grantham Foodbank.
“Jeans for Genes 2016” Children and Staff gave a £1 to wear their jeans to school and they raised £115.00.
“Grantham Passage Day Centres” – December 2015 £106 was raised to support the Grantham Passage Day Centres for the homeless & vulnerably housed in Grantham.
“St. Barnabas” Lincolnshire Hospice – December 2015 By taking part in the Carol Singing Service at the George Centre, the Grantham Prep. School raised £113.32. The overall total from all the schools taking part was a fantastic £541.02. St. Barnabas, Grantham help families living with a life limiting illness throughout Lincolnshire.
“Jeans for Genes 2015” Children and Staff gave a £1 to wear their jeans to school and they raised £117.42.

“Red Nose Day 2015” £46.50 was raised to help get children across Africa into school and learning.

“Scotty’s Little Soldiers” We raised £393.75 for the charity which supports children of fallen heroes.
“Samaritan’s Purse” Each year our children take part in the Shoe Box appeal.
“Jeans for Genes” On Friday 19th September 2014 staff and pupils wore their jeans to school and donated a £1 to do so, we raised £102.20 for this worthwhile cause.

As part of our fundraising efforts this year for St. Wulfram’s Church, Grantham SOS Appeal, our school choir held a rehearsal in the beautiful surroundings of St. Wulframs Church. The children raised £200.00 for this very worthwhile appeal.

Class 6 organised a Bring & Buy sale to raise funds for Children in Need. They came to school in their pyjamas and dressing gowns and sold cakes, books, toys to the children. They raised £286.15 which is a fantastic achievement, well done Class 6.

£56.17 was raised by The Grantham Preparatory School for Rainbows, which is a hospice for children and young people.

Operation Christmas Child – November 2011
Samaritan Purse would like to give special thanks to TGPS for donating gift-filled shoe boxes to Operation Christmas Child given to children suffering through war, poverty, natural disaster and disease in fourteen countries in Eastern Europe and beyond. 63 boxes were collected.

Comic Relief Day
Our children raised £80.40 by wearing silly socks on Friday 18th March 2011, our children decided that they would like to give the money they raised to Minami High School in Japan. Our local girl’s grammar school, Kesteven & Grantham Girls School are very closely linked to the school in Japan and our children wanted to show their support.
World Book Day 2011
On Thursday 3rd March pupils and Teachers dressed up as favourite characters from their favourite books. £69.20 was raised for the British Heart Foundation.
Thank you all very much for your tremendous support with our quest to raise money for the Grantham Rotary Swimarathon. Our target figure for 2011 was £500, this target was trounced, £704.49 was our final fabulous total. We are already training for next year’s whopping total of £750.00

Swimarathon – The Rotary Club of Grantham Swimarathon 2010
Congratulations to Jacob, Katie, Georgina, Eleanor, Madeleine and Rose – “The TGPS Piranhas” who achieved a new record of 190 lengths and a fantastic total of £458.00 at the end of the Swimarathonat the Meres on Sunday 7th February 2010. A huge thankyou to all those who helped to motivate the team by donating so generously.
Congratulations to all those who took part in Buddy’s Big Workout and special thanks to all those parents, grandparents, family and friends who sponsored our children. You raised £2,360 for the NSPCC which is fantastic amount of money. Val Footit came to our assembly on Wednesday 3rd February 2010 and was extremely pleased to share the total with the whole school. Well done to everyone who took part.
